I met Antonio González last year. He runs one of the leading blogs about photography, kuchi.fm, with more than 3.500 photographers subscribed to it. Since then, I´ve seen him several times. He dedicated me his "photographer´s day" on Twitter on December 31st. Well, he has started a new section on his web where he virtually exhibits the work of people he considers interesting somehow.
A few weeks ago, he emailed me asking me if I would be interested in exhibiting ten of my pics on this new section. I told him I was, of course! I thought at first about exhibiting pics of reflections, but there´s no story behind a reflection. Instead, I finally chose of ten pics of urban scenes in Madrid, because each photo has a beautiful story behind. I entitled it "Madrid and its people". You can see the exhibition in here. I want to thank Antonio and his web warmly for being always so kind to me, for his nice words of introduction and for this beautiful exhibition!
Conocí a Antonio el año pasado. Lleva uno de los blogs líderes sobre fotografía, kutchi.fm, con más de 3.500 fotógrafos suscritos a ella. Desde entonces, le he visto en varias ocasiones. Me dedicó su "fotógrafo del día" en Twitter el 31 de diciembre. Bien, ha empezado una sección nueva en su web donde expone de manera virtual el trabajo de gente que él considera interesante por algún motivo.
Hace unas semanas me mandó un email preguntándome si estaría interesado en exponer diez fotos mías en su nueva sección. Por supuesto, le dije que sí! Al principio pensé en exponer fotos de mis reflejos, pero no hay una historia detrás de un reflejo. Por eso, finalmente decidí 10 fotos de escenas urbanas en Madrid, ya que tras cada foto hay una bonita historia detrás. La titulé "Madrid y su gente". Podéis ver la exposición aquí. Quiero agradecer muy sinceramente a Antonio y su web el ser siempre tan amable conmigo, sus cariñosas palabras de presentación y esta bonita exposición!
