Four Honorable Mentions in the Mobile Photography Awards 2022

Sorry to write this post around eight months later than I should have written it, but I am a bit off social media, and forgot to share how happy and honoured I am to tell you that four of my pics were awarded with Honorable Mention in the Mobile Photography Awards 2022, in the categories of People (1), Silhouettes (1), The Darkness (1) and Travel/Transportation (1). 

Congratulations to the winners and all Honorable Mentions. Mobile Photography rocks!

Disculpad por escribor este post con ocho meses de retraso, aproximadamente, peroe s que estoy un poco ausente de redes sociales, y se me olvidó compartir que estoy feliz y honrado de contaros que ocho de mis fotos han sido premiadas con Mención de Honor e9n los Mobile Photography Awards 2022, en las categorías de Gente (1, Siluetas (1), The Darkness (1) y Viaje/Transporte (1).

Seven Honorable Mentions in the Mobile Photography Awards 2020

Happy and honoured to share that seven of my pics have been awarded with Honorable Mention in the Mobile Photography Awards 2020, in the Categories of Portrait (3), Silhouettes (1), Street Photography (1), The Darkness/Noir (1) and Water/Snow/Ice (1). All the images, except one, have been shot and edited on my Huawei devices.

Once more, my daughter Candela brings me good luck. Two Spanish friends: Isabel López and Nazaret Sánchez have been awarded with one and five Honorable Mentions each.

Two Honorable Mentions in the Mobile Photography Awards 2018

Happy and honored to share that two of my pics have been awarded with Honorable Mention in the Mobile Photography Awards 2018, in the Categories of Portrait , and Silhouettes. Both images have been shot and edited on my Huawei P20 Pro.

The portrait of my daughter Candela brings me good luck, as it was already awarded Runne-Up Winner in the 2018 Huawei Next Image Awards . Three Spanish friends: Ana Fernández-Quirós, José Luis Barcia and Rodrigo Rivas have been awarded with one, three and five Honorable Mentions each. Spanish Mobile Photography rocks!!

And really happy to see, once more, my friends Mar Lombardo with two Honorable Mentions, David Fidalgo with one, and Rodrigo Rivas as Winner in the The Darkness category and four more Honorable Mentions. Spanish Mobile Photography rocks!!

A fourth Honorable Mention in the MOBILE PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS 2013.

Just when I had already forgotten all about the MOBILE PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS 2013, I´ve had a new surprise. The MPA Founder´s Honorable Mentions came up yesterday, and I was delighted to see that another of my photos was awarded with another Honorable Mention. That makes four in total. I must admit that I´m very happy for it!


Justo cuando ya me había olvidado totalmente de los MOBILE PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS 2013, tuve una nueva sorpresa. Ayer se publicaron los resultados de las Menciones de Honor del Fundador de los MPA, y comprobé encantado que otra de mis fotos fue premiada con otra Mención de Honor. Eso hace un total de cuatro. ¡Debo admitir que estoy muy feliz por ello!

A third Honorable Mention in the MOBILE PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS 2013.

I was wrong yesterday because I was too impatient. I´ve been awarded with a third Honorable Mention in the MOBILE PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS 2013, this time in the category "Architecture/Design". I´m so happy! And congrats to my friend José Luis Barcia Fernández who is the winner in this category.

Ayer me equivoqué por haber sido demasiado impaciente. He tenido una tercera Mención de Honor en los MOBILE PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS 2013, esta vez en la categoría de "Arquitectura/Diseño". ¡Estoy muy feliz! Y felicidades a mi amigo José Luis Barcía, que ha sido el ganador de esta categoría.

Two Honorable Mentions in the MOBILE PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS 2013

Two of my pics have been awarded with Honorable Mention in the category "Watercapes" of the MOBILE PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS 2013. They are both upside down reflections, one of the cathedral of Logroño, and the other one of my beautiful daughter Candela. You may fond below both pics.

I would like to congratulate all winners and honorable mentions in the different categories. I would like to thank Mobile Photography Awards for these Mentions. Let´s make mobile photography a well known Art throughout the world!!


Dos de mis fotos han sido premiadas con sendas Mención de Honor en la categoría "Paisajes de Agua" de los MOBILE PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS 2013. Ambas son reflejos "upside down", uno de la catedral de Logroño, y otro de mi preciosa hija Candela. Tenéis las fotos más abajo.

Me gustaría felicitar a todos los ganadores y menciones de honor en las diferentes categorías. Me gustaría agradecer estas Menciones a Mobile Photography Awards. ¡Hagamos que la fotografía móvil sea una expresión Arte reconocida en todo el mundo!

Two Honorable Mentions in the World Mobile Photography Awards 2012.

Last Saturday 26/02/2013 I went to bed really happy. That day I found out that I had gotten two Honorable Mentions in the World Mobile Photography Awards, probably the most important awards dedicated to mobile photography in the world. 

One photo was included in the categoty of "Architecture/Design", the reflection on a puddle of the Royal Academy of History, Madrid, just in front of my home. This photo had already been chosen as Editor´s selection in 500px. It is a very especial photo to me!

The other one was included in the category of "Performing Arts", and it is the picture of the street musicians playing music in front of El Corte Ingles´s showcase. This photo wass the one most sold during my last exhibition "URBAN SCENES" and it brings me good luck, because I was awarded with a four days trip to Scotland thanks to it!

My two potos will be exhibited in the Soho Gallery for Digital Arts, in New York, during February 22th to 28th. What a great news!!

I would like to congratulate all winners and mentions in the different categories, and especially my dear collegue Jose Luis, @joseluisbarcia , who has been also awarded with two Honorable Mentions. I would like to thank Mobile Photography Awards for these Mentions. Let´s make mobile photography a well known Art throughout the world!!
