Remembering Torrevieja 2012, what a glorious weekend

I still remember with nostalgy the great weekend that I spent at Torrevieja, during the I Congreso Instagramers. Those two days allowed me to meet the rest of FIE members which I had not met until those days, allowed me to meet new people, allowed me to see my pics exhibited at Sala "Buena Vista" and allowed to explain to every one why I love reflections so much. But Above all, it was a wonderful weeekend in which I had a great time.

I didn´t take many pictures, I must admit. Here they are:

Todavía recuerdo con nostalgia el gran fin de semana que pasé en Torrevieja, durante el I Congreso de Instagramers. Esos dos días me permitieron conocer al resto de miembros FIE que aún no conocía, me permitieron conocer gente nueva, me permitieron ver mis fotos expuestas en la Sala "Buena Vista", y ,e permitieron explicar a todo el mundo porqué amo tanto los reflejos. Pero sobre todo, fue un maravilloso fin de semana en el que me lo pasé muy bien.

No hice muchas fotos, debo admitir. Aquí presento algunas de ellas:

My experience at Congreso Instagramers #Torrevieja2012

I´ve just arrived form The First Instagramers Congress #Torrevieja2012. It has been a wonderful experience. I´ve had the opportunity to meet many of those who I already considered to be my friends, as well as other people.

I´ve also had the opportunity to give a 30 minutes speech about my passion, the reflections. I can hardly give my opinion about it. When one is on the stage, it is difficult to know if one did it well or not, but people congratulated me because of my speech, so I´m very happy for it.

And then, I´ve seen eight of my favorite pictures hanging on the walls of a great exhibition. I would like to thank warmly my friend Gabi for working so hard to make the congress a big success, Clara Soler for helping him, Clara Montesinos and Phil González and his web instagramers.com. They all together made a great effort.

Tomorrow starts the I Congreso Instagramers #torrevieja2012

Tomorow, Saturday May 5th, starts the First Instagramers Congress in Torrevieja, Alicante, in eatern Spain. It will last two days, the 5th and 6th. I´m very excited about it, because I will have eight of my pics in the exhibition, that is an important part of this Congress, together with pictures of the other 9 FIE members, 10 foreign igers, and another 40 igers who have been invited after a challenge. Moreover, I will give a 30 minutes speech about my passion: the reflections. I hope not to be too nervous, and to do it well enough as to delight the audience. Fingers crossed!!

Mañana, sábado 5 de mayo, empieza el I Congreso Instagramers en Torrevieja, Alicante. Durará dos días, el 5 y el 6. Estoy muy excitado, porque tendré ocho de mis fotos formado parte de la exposición, junto al resto de compañeros FIE, diez igers más extranjeros, y 40 igers más invitados por concurso. Además, daré una charla de 30 minutos sobre mi pasión: los reflejos. Espero no estar demasiado nervioso, y hacerlo lo suficientemente bien como para entusiasmar a la audiencia, ¡Cruzo los dedos!

The First Instagramers Congress announced in La Vanguardia

The First Instagramers Congress, which is going to be held in the city of Torrevieja in May 5th and 6th, has been announced in La Vanguardia, a major national newspaper. This Congress has been organised by Instagramers and F.I.E.

El I Congreso de Instagrmers que se celebrará en Torrevieja los días 5 y 6 de mayo ha salido anunciado en la sección de Valencia de La Vanguardia. Este Congreso ha sido organizado por Instagramers y F.I.E.

The First Instagramers Congress announced in El Mundo

The First Instagramers Congress, which is going to be held in the city of Torrevieja in May 5th and 6th, has been announced in El Mundo, a major national newspaper. This Congress has been organised by Instagramers and F.I.E.

El I Congreso de Instagrmers que se celebrará en Torrevieja los días 5 y 6 de mayo ha salido anunciado en la sección de Valencia de El Mundo. Este Congreso ha sido organizado por Instagramers y F.I.E.

I Congreso de Instagramers #Torrevieja2012

On May 5th and 6th,  the First Congress of Instagramers # Torrevieja2012 will be held. This is the first global activity organized in Spain for Instagram users. The Congress will consist of a great International  Exhibition with photographs of 20 igers worldwide (the 10 F.I.E. members plus 10 foreigners, with 8 pics each one of them), plus others that will be selected throughout a competition. The igers who will show their work will also participate in the development of conferences and workshops taught by themselves to all Congress attendees. The Congress will end up with a big "Photo Walk" around the city of Torrevieja (Alicante).

The Congress is sponsored by the Honorable Torrevieja Town Hall which offers a large exhibition hall and conference center. Organized by www.instagramers.com and F.I.E.

El 5 y 6 de Mayo se celebrará el I Congreso de Instagramers #Torrevieja2012. Será la primera actividad global organizada en España para los usuarios de Instagram. El Congreso constará de una gran Exposición Internacional con fotografías de 20 igers de todo el mundo (los 10 miembros de F.I.E. más otros 10 extranjeros, con 8 fotos cada uno), además de otras que serán seleccionadas a través de un concurso. Los igers que expondrán participarán en el desarrollo de conferencias y talleres que ellos mismos impartirán a todos los asistentes al Congreso. El Congreso finalizará con un gran "Photo Walk" por la ciudad de Torrevieja (Alicante).
