Article about my photography by Mar Abad, for Yorokobu magazine

After my speech at The App Fest, I was interviewed for 20 minutes by the charming Mar Abad, journalist at Yorokobu magazine, an online and paper leader magazine. It was a pleasant chat, in which I spoke about my work as iphonographer, about my adventure on Instagram and, above all, about my passion for reflections.

Mar turned out to be the person who talked about me to the organizers of The App Fest, and she understood perfectly everything I told her. When I woke up the next day, I found a very sensitive and beautiful article written by her after our conversation. I am very grateful to her and to Yorokobu for giving me this opportunity to show and speak about my work.

My experience at The App Fest / Mi experiencia en The App Fest

As I wrote here a few days ago, I´ve been invited by The App Fest to give a ten minutes speech about my experience as an IG user. This happened yesterday, 19th April, and I must admit that it has been an incredible experience. I´m a guy who doesn´t like to appear on my pics. I don´t even have a photo of myself on my profile. I like to be known by my work, that is to say, by me pics.

Well, today I had to speak in front of a big auditorium, and what I thought would be a very stressful situation, turned out to be very pleasant. I could hardly see the people because I had a big lamp pointing at my face. I talked longer than 10 minutes, and I felt very confortable.

But this was not everything. I have been also interviewed by RTVE, the major and national television, by Tele 5 for a new program  about apps, by Yorokobu (by its beautiful journalist Mar Abad, who turned out to be the person who proposed my speech to The App Fest), and I will be soon interviewed by The Rolling Stones magazine.

It has been an incredible experience, and I´m very grateful to The App fest organizers for giving me this opportunity.

Invited by The App Fest to give a speech / Invitado por The App Fest a dar una charla

I´ve been invited by the organizers of The App Fest to give a shot speech (7 to 10 minutes) about my experience as Instagram user. They want me to illustrate this speech just with my pictures, posted during the last 17 months.

I feel very flattered and honored by this invitation, and I hope to do it right, although I´m not used to talking to a big (or small) audience.

If anyone wants to hear the speech, it´ll take place next thursday, April 19th, between 15:30 and 17;15 hours.

He sido invitado por los organizadores de The App Fest a dar una charla corta (entre 7 y 10 minutos) sobre mi experiencia como usuario de Instagram. Queiren que ilustre esta charla sólo con mis fotos subidas durante los últimos 17 meses.

Me siento muy halagado y es un honor que me hayan invitado. Espero hacerlo bien, aunque no estoy acostumbrado a hablar frente a un gran (y pequeño) audotorio.
