The C.O.A.M. (College of Architects of Madrid) organizes every year the so called "Week of Architecture". During this week there are guided tours around architecturally interesting buildings, which can hardly be visited by the public otherwise, as well as debates, lectures, activities, etc.
I always try to visit some building. This year I did not miss the opportunity to visit one of the buildings I had always longed for: the rehabilitation of the former brewery El Aguila, transformed into the Municipal Library and Archives, designed by the great architects Tuñón & Mansilla. The rehabilitation is magnificent. I shot some photographs from the outside (we were not allowed to photograph the interior), which I now present to you.
