This is a photograph that I particularly like. Shot while waiting for my wife to arrive at Santa Justa railway station, Sevilla, designed by the great architects Cruz y Ortiz. I like it because of its composition, light, and balance human figure - architecture.

Ésta es una fotografía que me gusta especialmente. Hecha mientras esperaba que llegara mi mujer a la estación de Santa Justa, Sevilla, diseñada por los grandes arquitectos Cruz y Ortiz. Me gusta por su composición, luz, y equilibrio figura humana - arquitectura.

Santa Justa is the name of the train station in Sevilla. Designed by the great architects Cruz y Ortiz, I´m lucky to visit it every weekend during my holidays in Ayamonte, because I have to go there to pick up my wife when she travels from Madrid to Sevilla and viceversa. It is a magnificent building in which Light is the main character. What I like most is that, very time I visit it, I discover something different and I´m always touched by the presence of the Light.

Santa Justa es el nombre de la estación de tren de Sevilla. Diseñada por los grandes arquitectos Cruz y Ortiz, tengo la suerte de visitarla cada fin de semana durante mis vacaciones en Ayamonte, porque tengo que ir allí a recoger a mi mujer cada vez que hace el trayecto Sevilla - Madrid, y viceversa. La Luz es el protagonista principal. Lo que más me gusta es que, cada vez que la visito, descubro algo diferente, y me siento emocionado por la presencia de la Luz.

Photos shot on various Fridays at Santa Justa railway station, in Sevilla, while waiting for my wife to arrive from Madrid. This is a fabulous building designed by two great architects from Sevilla, Cruz y Ortiz, which I love and which keeps on surprising me every time I walk into it, even though I´ve been doing it very often for the past ten years. Light is the main actor in the wonderful space, and this is what I tried to capture.

Fotos tomadas en la estación de Santa Justa, en sevilla, mientras esperaba que mi mujer llegara de Madrid. Es un edificio fabuloso proyectado por los grandes arquitectos sevillanos Cruz y Ortiz, que me encanta y que me sigue sorprendiendo cada vez que lo visito, a pesar de que lo he estado haciendo con frecuencia en los últimos diez años. La Luz es la principal protagonista en este maravilloso espacio, y eso es lo que he tratado capturar.
