In two days time, the opening of my second individual photographic exhibition will take place in La Piola, calle León 9, Madrid. I will present my work as a mobile photographer. This time there will be thirty-four photographs of urban scenes, that is to say, everyday scenes that take place in the streets of our cities.
I am, slowly but surely, getting into the fascinating world of "street photography", photographs taken at street level, capturing unique moments, unrepeatable, considering people as the main subjet of the photo.
This type of photography, in my opinion, is difficult to achieve with an iPhone. You have to be very close, conceal. Very often one doesn´t even know how the shot is going to come out, one discoveres the result later. In any case, it is a fascinating challenge for me because, capturing unique moments, gestures of people who do not pose for you, is the essence of photography.
The inauguration will take place on November 15th, 2012, from 20:00 at the bar mentioned above. Everyone is welcome!

En dos día tendrá lugar la inauguración de mi segunda exposición individual de fotografía, que tendrá lugar en noviembre de 2012 en La Piola, calle León 9, Madrid. En ella volveré a presentar mi trabajo como fotógrafo móvil. En esta ocasión se trata de treinta y cuatro fotografías de escenas urbanas, es decir, escenas cotidianas que tienen lugar en las calles de nuestras ciudades.
Poco a poco voy entrando en el fascinante mundo de la fotografía callejera, la llamada “street phptpgraphy”, esa fotografía tomada a pie de calle, que captura instantes únicos, irrepetibles, tomando a las personas como motivo principal de la foto.
Este tipo de fotografía, a mi juicio, es complicada de realizar con el iPhone. Hay que aproximarse mucho, disimular. Muchas veces no se sabe ni cómo sale el disparo, el resultado se descubre después. En cualquier caso, es un reto fascinante porque, para mí, capturar instantes únicos, gestos de personas que no posan para ti, es la esencia de la fotografía.
La inauguración tendrá lugar el próximo 15 de noviembre de 2012, a partir de las 20:00h, en el bar referido arriba. ¡Os espero a todos!
