One of my pics highlighted by SHOOTER Magazine. November 2012

On November 14th, before going to bed, I was happy to discover that my friends from SHOOTER  had highlighted one of my pics. SHOOTER is the first magazine dedicated to mobile photography. It has been created by two friends of mine: Milos Kalvin and Luis Torres. It is a challenge and a risk nowadays, where the information is read online rather than on printed paper. But this is a magazine to be enjoyed holding it in your hands, smell its pages, enjoy its content, and not to see it on the screen of a computer, or a tablet.

I am proud to be part of their project, even if it is a tiny part of it, being the 100th subscriber. Well, they invite all mobile photographers to tag their photos with the hashtag #shootermag. Among them, they will highlight one occasionally. I´m very proud to say it was my turn the other day, with a very simple photo (to me, the essence of photography). A picture of one of the balconies of my home, just turned into black and white with Snapssed.

El 14 de noviembre, por la noche, me encontré que mis amigos de SHOOTER habían destacado una foto mía. SHOOTER es la primera revista dedicada a la fotografía móvil. La han creado dos amigo míos: Milos Kalvin y Luis Torres, arriesgando en uno momento delicado, donde lo que funciona es la información online y no en papel. Esta revista es para disfrutarla en la mano, oler sus páginas, disfrutar con su contenido, y no para verla en la pantalla de un ordenador, o de un tablet.

Me enorgullece formar parte de su proyecto, aunque de manera pequeñita, siendo el suscriptor número 100. Pues bien, invitan a todos los fotógrafos móviles a etiquetar sus fotos con la etiqueta #shootermag. De entre ellas, irán destacando una de vez en cuando. El otro día me tocó a mí, con una foto muy sencilla (par mí, la esencia de la fotografía). Un claro-oscuro de uno de los balcoes de mi casa, simplemente pasado a blanco y negro con Snapssed.
