These are some of the photos shot last Easter, while visiting the Metropol Parasol building with my family. It was a beautiul and cloudy afternoon, with the sun trying to find its way through the clouds. This is the result of that afternoon.

Éstas son alguna de las fotos que hice la pasada semana Santa, mientras visitaba el edificio MEtropol Parasol con mi familia. Era una tarde preciosa y nublada, con el sol buscando colarse entre las nubes. Éste es el resultado de aquella tarde.

My experience at Congreso Instagramers #Torrevieja2012

I´ve just arrived form The First Instagramers Congress #Torrevieja2012. It has been a wonderful experience. I´ve had the opportunity to meet many of those who I already considered to be my friends, as well as other people.

I´ve also had the opportunity to give a 30 minutes speech about my passion, the reflections. I can hardly give my opinion about it. When one is on the stage, it is difficult to know if one did it well or not, but people congratulated me because of my speech, so I´m very happy for it.

And then, I´ve seen eight of my favorite pictures hanging on the walls of a great exhibition. I would like to thank warmly my friend Gabi for working so hard to make the congress a big success, Clara Soler for helping him, Clara Montesinos and Phil González and his web instagramers.com. They all together made a great effort.

Tomorrow starts the I Congreso Instagramers #torrevieja2012

Tomorow, Saturday May 5th, starts the First Instagramers Congress in Torrevieja, Alicante, in eatern Spain. It will last two days, the 5th and 6th. I´m very excited about it, because I will have eight of my pics in the exhibition, that is an important part of this Congress, together with pictures of the other 9 FIE members, 10 foreign igers, and another 40 igers who have been invited after a challenge. Moreover, I will give a 30 minutes speech about my passion: the reflections. I hope not to be too nervous, and to do it well enough as to delight the audience. Fingers crossed!!

Mañana, sábado 5 de mayo, empieza el I Congreso Instagramers en Torrevieja, Alicante. Durará dos días, el 5 y el 6. Estoy muy excitado, porque tendré ocho de mis fotos formado parte de la exposición, junto al resto de compañeros FIE, diez igers más extranjeros, y 40 igers más invitados por concurso. Además, daré una charla de 30 minutos sobre mi pasión: los reflejos. Espero no estar demasiado nervioso, y hacerlo lo suficientemente bien como para entusiasmar a la audiencia, ¡Cruzo los dedos!

A beautiful sunset over Isla Canela, Ayamonte. April 2012

Last Easter, we spent a few days at our apartment in Ayamonte, Huelva, in the south of Spain. One afternoon, we went to the beach for a late walk, and we were fortunate enough as to witness an awesome sunset. There were people walking, people earning their living by fishing clams, and I was there to capture all those people and moments.

La pasada semana Santa pasamos unos unos días en nuestro apartamento de Ayamonte, Huelva, en el sur de España. Una tarde fuimos a la playa a pasear a última hora y tuvimos la fortuna de ser testigos de una maravillosa puesta de sol. Había gente paseando, y gente ganándose la vida buscando coquinas. Y yo estaba allí para capturar a toda esta gente y momentos.
