Urban spaces / Espacios urbanos. Barcelona. July 2012

The pictures shown here are the result of a "photowalk" I did with my friends from Barcelona Silvia, @sil8, and Andrés, @aenede, who accompanied me the day after my talk at The Brandery. It was a very pleasant Saturday I spent with them, walking around the neighborhoods of Born, el Rabal and around the cathedral.

I wanted to dedicate this post to them, for their friendship, dedication, and for being excellent hosts.Thank you, guys!

Las fotos que aquí muestro son el resultado de un "photowalk" que hice con mis amigos de Barcelona Sil, @sil8 y Andrés, @aenede, los cuales me acompañaron al día siguiente de mi ponencia en The Brandery. Fue un sábado muy agradable el que pasé con ellos, caminando por los barrios del Born, el Rabal y loa alrededores de la catedral.

Quería dedicarles esta entrada a ellos, por su amistad, su dedicación, y por haber sido unos excelentes anfitriones. ¡Muchas gracias, chicos!

Edificio Capitol, Gran Vía, Madrid. June 2012

This post contains only one picture, an image of one of my favorite buildings, the Capitol building (only in Spanish), in one of the most beautiful and important streets of Madrid, Gran Via. It is one of the most important buildings in Madrid, located in one of the most emblematic corners, with great presence, and it has been used as a backdrop for movies.

I like it a lot, but I had found the proper time to photograph it. However, the day I walked down Gran Via heading to Casa Decor in Plaza de España, when I was passing beside it I looked up, saw that wonderful cloudy sky, with sharp contrasts, and took the shot. I edited it only with Snapseed, seeking as main objective to highlight those clouds around it. I hope you like the picture as much as I do the building.
